Description
Two-stroke diesel engines are typically fitted with electrically driven auxiliary blowers, as exhaust-gas turbochargers fail to deliver sufficient scavenge air under low engine load and low rotational speeds. These auxiliary blowers form an integral part of the main engine assembly.
